1969 Mustang - Extreme Makeover





Tonight, starting at 5:00pm, we will be performing an extreme makeover to this 1969 Mustang here at Meguiar’s Garage.

Currently, the finish has no gloss but instead the finish is flat like green primer. Some areas have oxidized so badly, the paint has turned whitish in color.



The Extreme Makeover starts at 5:00pm. If you would like to come down and watch, ask questions, and even help out, please feel free to stop by. If you are new to detailing, even though I will be using Meguiar's product for the makeover, you can learn and use techniques that will work with many other products.

Yea, these little rice cars all look the same and are boring :bounce





One of these days we'll have to have an Autopian meet and I'll bring them both for you, the girl loves driven the caddy and will take any chance she can get to be alone in it :D



Give her enough money for gas and as long as the top doesn't have to go up I swear she'd drive that thing all the time. I sent her and 4 friends out in it about a month ago, they all left fully clothed and when they finally came back the magically appeard in bikinis :rofl:
 
I wish I lived in California. Make sure you do a nice write-up for the rest of us. I have learned a lot from reading your posts on the Meguiar's forum.
 
Wish i could come, but the 38 hours and 9 minutes Mapquest says it would take me wouldn't get me there on time. Why doesn't anything happen near my house dang it.

HotRodGuy, I know what you mean about the pics not doing it justice. I think we have all done cars that you just cant explain the difference. You just really gotta see it!!

Another member showed up and helped me w/ my car for about 30 minutes. Other then that it was me, Mike, and the owner of the stang :)
