Somebody oughta snatch up that older one ( #2 ) with the original-style switch...eh, or at least *I* would prefer that. The switch on the Euro model looks good too...just don't go for the more modern, flatter switches myself.

Do you have a variable speed model or just a switch?

Mine are pretty old, IIRC my newer one dates to about '93. So they're all single speed which is fine by me as *IIRC* the variable-speed model lets you turn the speed *down* whereas I'd like to be able to turn it *up*.

The switch is just a personal preference, after using that tall toggle-switch for so long I don't want to change to the lower flat one. I can see others having opinions on both sides of the fence as some find the old switch (too) easy to knock on/off accidentally.

Hi, just bought the #5. Are the pads included hook and loop? Not familiar with the Cyclos, have been using a PC D/A since 2002. All I need to get are the polishing pads? Thanks!
