OP isnt half bad at swirl removal

I have seen a lot of people coming down on OP for being too "light" recently, and wanted to share a couple pics from a detail I did this weekend. I was stuck with OP as my heaviest direct sun friendly compound, and I was pretty happy with its performance.

Very nice - what kind of paint is it? I find on softer paints OC/OP are more than enough for light swirl removal.

It was an Evolution VIII. The paint was pretty soft, and had lots of orange peel

Yeah, what car and paint its that? Its pretty intensive, I need to squint too

Swirl removal, no matter what the pad and polish combo can be very paint hardness dependent. I do find that OP is very good on most paint at light to moderate defect removal but on Audis, Corvette's, etc, I have to step up to the compound or Hyper.

Yep that ^^. Japanese cars in general have softer paint; OP does a good job on hondas/acuras/nissans/infiniti's. On German or American cars normally you have to move up to at least OC to see results.
