ONR’s longevity?

Does anyone know how long ONR can keep its cleaning ability if it has been diluted for washing? I use it for cleaning windows more and more, and I would like to keep a bucket already made and also dedicated just for that. A spray bottle will not work for me because I like to use a sponge soaked in the ONR solution. I do squeeze it out first but it is still wet when its put to the window. This works so well and makes cleaning them so easy. If I’m able to devote a wash bucket specifically for this it would be very cost effective because it would last forever. Thanks everyone.

I mix it at QD strength, but store it in a gallon jug. I guess you could do the same and just empty it into a bucket. BTW I'm a little puzzled. Do you wash your windows and not the car?

To clear up any confusion, I do wash the cars but not always with ONR. Some vehicles need a serious washing with a different car shampoo or even dawn. So if I wash with one of those other products, I don’t have ONR already made. And to make a wash bucket without any reason but to wash the windows of one car is a waste. This is why I would like to know if it will last and how long.?

PS. At QD strength it is to strong for windows but when diluted as a wash solution it works great.

I've wondered this too. I'd like to keep a 5 gallon bucket with a lid in the garage so I can ONR my car every other day and only have it take around 5 minutes.

I wouldn`t have thought ONR will lose any of its abilities after dilution.

I have a 5 litre sprayer mixed at QD strength which has lost its blue but works perfectly.

Really top notch quality product.

I have a gallon jug with QD strength ONR to easily fill my spray bottle, works great, the color fades a bit though. And why do you thing QD strength is too strong for windows?

Out of curiosity what is the method you use to do the windows? And do you do them inside and out? What do you dry them with? Does it work in full sun without streaking?

I’ve used it at QD strength on windows to see for myself and it streaks like a mother sucker.

I take a wash sponge with ONR and go to town on the windows. Then I dry with a drying towel like you use for your paint. And to make sure I have no streaks I wipe them down with a cloth for window. It actually works real fast and gets them spotless. Yes it does work in the sun. I haven’t tried this method on aftermarket tint yet. I think I’ll let someone else try that first.
