Onr & ocw

Took Scottwax's recommendation and mixed OCW along with ONR yesterday for my weekly wash. Great results! Much glossier, and left a more substantial smoothness to the paint. I was concerned that the addition of the wax might compromise the cleaning ability of the ONR but that did not seem to be the case. Seems to work equally well on wax or sealant. My DD wears only sealants/nano coatings, while the wife's DD wears nubas. I am currently foolin' around with Naviwax and Finis on that one. Gloss was amplified on both. Give this a try...Scottwax strikes again!!!

I use a capful of onr per gallon of water for most washes. Just added a capful of ocw. So, onr and ocw in equal proportions. Mainly, it amps up the gloss over a normal onr wash. Don't know about beading yet.

What also works well is to spray OCW on the panel after it is ONR washed but before you dry it off.

Yep, that is my preferred method.

I'm going to have to try this out tomorrow. I believe Scott said to add one ounce of OCW to the ONR solution. Hope to get some good results... I'll fill you guys in on my results.

I tried 1 oz. of OCW with 2 oz. of ONR in 4 gallons and don't think it was enough. Think I'll do 1 to 1 ratio of ONR to OCW this weekend.

I used 2 OZs of ONR and 1 OZ of Aquawax in two gallons of water and the results were very noticable. It was easy to see the effects of the Aquawax in shine and slickness over just a plain ONR wash.

I think ScottWax may have started a new trend. The "ScottWax Method" might just be the fastest and safest way to wash and wax.

I only use 1/2 oz at most when I apply OCW on a dry clean paint. Compromise product consumption in exchange of saving time.

Yeah that's true, it would definitely use more product due to water dilution, but the time savings can't go unnoticed. Although spraying ocw during the second drying pass is very easy, it does take extra time.
