ONR in a spray bottle???

Ok I don't know exactly what they are called. I think some of you know what I am talking about. How do I make these:
 
Aliens? I used to think it was a special design. I gotta stop falling for those voices in my head, what next horrible thing are they going to do to me? Make me use Zanio?!?!

There are these sponges that are marketed to be "dry" solutions for cleaning your dash (they actually work ok for dust). They also do a great job at pulling lint & dog hair out of fabric. They're orange, I think TW makes them (sheesh. I'm starting to sound like a TW salesman). Their kind of like the sticky lint rollers, just not as sticky. Get it wet and it loses it's tackiness,and you can get all the crud off it.

Anyway, I had some lint from cleaning/vacuuming around the edges of the mat, so I took this sponge and...wow! It *really* grabs the nap of the carpet (in a good way). You should have seen all the fuzz I pulled out, even after a fresh vacuum. Then I noticed how I could control the marks...

It would prolly work with a regular sponge, but this little thing is worth $1.50 to me. I go straight up, then angle down so the edge is next to where the last upward motion started. Then up again. Just like my mom taught me how to vacuum floors....

Neat thing is, it does hide some of the minor flaws in carpet. And I bet customers will be impressed. You can *see* someone paid attention to the carpet. Mom would be proud! And it looks really cool in the back seat, where you can play with the way the markings intersect on the sides and top of the trans. hump.

Haha, I actually have this! I tried using it for my dash, but alas my dash is too rough and it tore up the sponge. The one I have is a ultra dense rubber feeling sponge made to pick up dust from dashes. Looks like I gotta go find it.



I'll definately be using this on any of my customers interiors (if I have any :) )



After I etch YoSteve.Com in their clearcoat, I'll sponge it in their trunk too ;)
 
I've been doing that stuff with my floormats and carpet ever since I saw it in a magazine a couple years ago. After spraying some shampoo on the carpet/floormat, simply alternat the direction in which you brush the carpet as a final step. It really hides flaws and draws attention! :up
 
I?ve just bought a gallon of ONR and I was wondering if anyone uses this to do a quick cleaning? By that I mean to just spray and wipe on my black car. The bottle says to mix 8oz ONR to 1 gal of water. I have not tried using it with the bucket method but this morning I was cleaning the wife?s car and I was thinking ?.mine is not really dirty but it could use a quick wipe down?..Is it worth it??

Let us spray

I do it all the time... I use a capfull in a 32 oz bottle. I use the CA Duster first and then mist with ONR and always use MF to wipe down.:Dancing Dot::Dancing Dot:

I do exactly the same thing! I use ONR as a QD on a daily basis.

If nothing else, I keep a bottle in my car to wipe exterior glass and chrome wheels..... Lookin' sharp always!:Dancing Dot:

Same here with a duster first, but I use it QD strength (8oz. per gal) I average about 20oz. for the whole car, so mist washing (that's what I call it) 6 times per gal is pretty cheap.
 
Thanks guys.....I was checking with the people who know before I do something unhealthy with my car's finish..... So I guess I need to add a ca duster to my next order
