Ongoing EXO Update w/Pics

I continue to be very happy with the EXO v2 on my DD.

I just returned from a 2 day 1,250+ mile blast. Nover drove 20 hours +/- in 48 hr period.

The Journey took me from Rain, to Snow and back the other way from Snow to rain :). Last few hundred miles were actually in the cold dry weather.

I am totally amazed at the self cleaning ability of the EXO, the tightness of the beads as well as the slickness of the surface after 4+ months. The only dirty area that remained are the top rear bumper where the wind deposits debris/dust and jambs!

I will keep you posted. I have not washed this car in weeks and the rain and snow is keeping it fairly clean.

Troy, I say go for it. It beads like a fresh wax, sheds water a fresh coat of NUBA, is super slick like BFWD and glows like I don't know what but it is awesome.

If there is something better I have not tried it yet. So far it seems pretty durable but I have not washed it much lately as it is 22 degrees outside.

I love this stuff. The only reason I like it better than OC 2.0 so far is becasue it is super slick. THe OC 2.0 has been on myt sons and wifes car for 4 times as long but it was nerver this slick. If the EXO v2 lasts as long as Opticoat and protects as well, it (EXO) would be a hair better in my opinion.

Not sure why you would want the C1? I have found the EXO to be plenty durable, hydrophobic and glossy. I have heard that there are issues using the C1 with the EXO v2.

I would reach out to Todd and Radar Ryan who have much more expericne on this suibject than I.

Might also email Robert Earle @ Gtech. He is good at getting back to you. Keep in mind they are about 1/2 time difference so allow some time for a response.

I try everything that catches my interest. I have a cabinet full of "stuff" to proove it.

This may not be the end all be all but it certianly is on the top of the list of everything I have tried to date. Opticoat is also great but different and for me I prefer the beading of the EXO and Slickness of the EXO. I will confirm this when the coating last as long as the Opticoat which I appled last August 12!
