I have been seaching locally for any Meguiars pro line products and keep on comming up empty.

I found an internet site with what seems to be some of the best prices for what I am looking for.

Mequiar's Dacp 32oz $16.46

Meguiar's #82 32oz $12.86

Meguiar's #26 16z $10.04

Shipping $10.00

Please give me some feedback because I really want to order and get started. By the way I will be using a PC.

This is the website. Has anyone ordered from here before?

Have you checked with any of the NAPA's or any local body shop supply stores? If they don't stock it, they can probably order it in with no freight cost from their distributor. That's what I did when I ordered my Final Detail. Took them 2 days to get it. Other than that, the prices look pretty good and the $10.00 freight seems pretty reasonable. If it's a flat $10.00, you might want to order some more stuff (polishing pads, microfiber towells etc.) to minimize the freight cost per item.:D

I haven't ordered from them before, but those prices are pretty reasonable, especially on the DACP! You might find this stuff locally, but it's pretty unlikely you'd beat these prices. Carquest quoted me $22 and change for a 32oz bottle of DACP, which I declined. I ended up paying about $24 for a whole gallon of it!

Its not a flat shipping fee, but Im sure it would cost alot more to add some things.

Im all set with mf, and I think I am going to try some of the new sonus pads from autopia. Ill definitely check to see if there is a Napa around here, but I think I tried before and had no luck.

If you see anything else on there that might be useful, any suggestions will be appreciated.

By the way, since the prices are so cheap, does it pay to get gallon size bottles? Im a weekend warrior, not a Pro.

spoiledman,

After I remove the oxidation and swirls, am I going to still need the Dacp. What I am really asking which one do you think I am going to go or use the most so I can get the gallon. TIA

have you tried that "dealer locator" on the meguiar's site? i think you can search for consumer, professional, and marine lines.

and just be glad you don't have to worry about about crossing an ocean to get your stuff. :P

hirosh,

I did but the prices are actually a little more and one distributer in Miami has this product, one in palm beach has that product and they all want deposits to order.

It seems easier to get it from one place and not have to run around. Afterall, I live in Florida which is the home of 120 year old senior, senior citizen drivers.

You might just want to order it straight from Meg's. Granted, you wont find DACP for 17 bucks, but i ordered a ton of sutff for only like $6 shipping, and the prices are pretty reasonable. Little bit steeper than some places ive found, but the shipping price definately compensates for it.

Prometheseus

I found a local napa store that can order them for me with no shipping but they only have 32oz sizes. Im wondering if I am better of ordering online. I have never used these products and I am doing my first real detail and I dont know how much I am going to need. My car is in pretty bad shape.

I think as far as shipping goes, its only around $10.

Acura95,

Try giving Meguiars a call directly. Their manufacturing, warehouse and shipping are out of Tennessee now so they should be able to get product to you in a few days max. I am in SC and no internet retailer can get the product to me any quicker than Meguiars and I am guaranteed to get product that hasn't been sitting on a shelf for years like I usually find when I buy locally. If you do find a lower price somewhere else, mention it they might give you a break, can't hurt to ask.

Just a thought :)

grayhawk,

These prices are the best I have seen. Thanks for the heads up :up

Have you ever ordered from them before. Why are they so cheap? Oh, did you notice this processing charge Fee. What is that about?

Yeah, I see the order has to be over $50 and you must pay with credit card. When did you place your order. How long has it been pending?

Yeah,

Im going to place my order it seems like a really good deal if your ordering over $50 because shipping is only $7.00

Heres what I am going to order:

Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Dual Action Cleaner/Polish - 32oz. $13.28

Meguiar's Mirror Glaze #82 32oz. $10.36

Meguiar's Mirror Glaze #26 16oz. $8.13 (liquid)

Final Inspection - 1 Gallon $16.25

If there are any other polishes, sealents, larger sizes please let me know. I need some feedback please.

I just got my stuff from Megs today (Wednesday) and i ordered it from Megs late Saturday Night (pretty close to midnight). Coming from Tennessee northern Michigan in 3 days aint bad at all, though UPS did beat the crap out of the box, all the products are ok. I dont think i ordred any of the same prodcuts as you guys, but i got some #81 (32 oz) for $16, #9 for $11, and #16 for #13, and it was only like 5 buck shipping. I couldnt find the grand total much less than that (i think one place was like $2 cheaper, but i figured i might as well order direct from Megs for the extra $2).

Acura, as for your stuff, it sounds like you got a pretty good deal. I doubt NAPA would sell you the 32 OZ sizes for any less than $19-20. You got away with a pretty good deal IMO.
