OMG my RIM!! Help please (56k Warning)

My dad decided to spin my tire on its rim on the pavement. I thought i saw something or a process on the internet that might make this look better.

No easy fix, gotta have it refinished. A good shop can maybe jus spot in the damaged areas, doesn't look like it'll be all *that* bad of a job (I've had far worse repaired). I myself would't try to fix it DIY-style, I'd rather pay a pro to do it right the first time.
 
For minor scuffing like that I'd just take it to my usual paint/body guy. A websearch will find a scad of wheel repair shops for more serious work (it's been ages since I need one of them; I think the last one I used was Ye Olde Wheel Shoppe, don't even remember where they are). No idea on the cost, but it'll be cheaper than a new (used) rim.
 
something like that, I would pick up some good spot putty. Scuff up the area real good and get it all smoothed out with putty, then just re-spray the wheel. It really shouldn't be too hard to fix. I have yet to fix 2 of my new wheels that havent even gotten on to my car yet. I got them home, had them sitting lined up in the driveway, and my cat jumped on them knocking 2 of them over onto the pavement. Just minor scratches, but still....
 
What year rim is that? 03? You can pick a new/used one up pretty cheap (even chaeper when Pops is paying for it). Try svtperformance.com
 
Yo do realize that your rim finish is just clear coat over silver paint on aluminum. So a normal body shop will easily fix it.
 
i love in south jersey. Marlton - Cherry Hill area. I was thinking about buying another wheel from a junk yard, just so i could have a regular size'd spare tire to use. But, fixing it would still be nice.

Take a look in your local yellow pages for a company that performs wheel repair.
 
I've used the Wurth wheel paint to redo several sets of BMW wheels and it works great. It's about $12 a can and you'll need 1 silver and one clear.
