Hi all. Long time since I posted here. I recently picked up an 07 Lexus ES350 and have been trying to figure out and master the paint. It's black single stage and was not cared for well by the last owner. After trying several things with minimal results, I finally moved on to M105 and ultimate compound via my 7424 PC (old model) which demolished all of the defects. Much appreciation for the creators of that formula!
Anyway I'm now working on the gloss factor. I've tried a few different combos with no real luck in getting that (I've tried with a finishing pad and a white polishing pad). How exactly does the new yellow formula compare to the old pink one? And I've considered using M205 but read a lot of reviews about the polishing oils (sounds like much more than in the 105) that gloss but eventually show the real surface.
I tried a search but it appears that SSR products aren't used as much as they used to be. Thanks!
