Old Sonus pads

How come the old rounded edged Sonus pads are gone and i cant seem to find them anywhere. I really liked the design of it, and these new ones don't look as good. Does anyone know where else i can get the old Sonus SFX pads.

We used a new machine to make the current batch of pads and specified a smaller bevel. The only true difference is the bevel (amount of radius) on the front edge. Function wise, they work the same (same foam, thickness, etc.).

As you may have noticed, I have the SFX pads on sale. This is to make room for the next generation of SFX pads. The 3rd generation pads have a full radius on both the front and the back. The back side has the Velcro cut back away from the edge to add a margin of safety. The foams, thickness and, Velcro and Velcro attachment have not changed.

When I sell through the current inventory. Looks like March.

So the ones that are on sale, are those the old inventory or the new one? The foam looks like the holes in the foam are a little bigger than the older ones.

it sounds like the one's on sale are the second generation of the pad

so if you have the first gen they could be a little different

but are made from the same foam so the holes should be the same

Sonus SFX First Generation was yellow, white and blue with rounded edges and white Velcro.

Sonus SFX Second Generation is yellow, white and red and does not have the rounded edges and they have black Velcro

Hope that clears up any confusion.

I just bought a set of the 2nd gen pads I noticed the LSP pad is a lot less dense than the first gen. What was the reasoning??
