Old, scratched paint - what to do?

I have black '93 BMW 325is that I bought few months ago and is in need for serious exterior detailing.



Paint has a lot of marks from accid rain, swirls amd scratches.



I was wondering if I should try something like this:



1.

- Wash

- Clay

- ColorX

- P21S Cleansing lotion

- P21 Wax (or Gold Class)



or



2.

- Wash

- Clay

- ScratchX

- Wax



or



3.

- Wash

- Clay

- 3M Finnesse II

- Wax

Of your three choices I like the third one best. But I'd get PI-III RC and PI-III MG (05933 and 05937) instead. And don't expect miracles, you can only do so much in cases like this.
