Here are some pics of a recent detail of my 1991 Red MR2. Purchased new in January of 1990, makes this almost a 15 year old vehicle. A daily driver (130,000 miles) for 13 of these years, it's now a garage queen.

The products used:

Meguiar's NXT Tech Wash,

Meguiar's Quik Clay

Meguiar's MPPC (PC)

Meguiar's #81(PC)

Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax (x2 - 24 hours apart)

Meguiars #40 on rubber/vinyl trim

The results:

Nice to see an older daily drive kept in such great shape. Especially one that is driven in the winter.:xyxthumbs

It looks great. I bought an '87 celica GTS new many years ago and I think your's look better now than mine did when it was new.

Excellent work :up

Is the windscreen-wash nozzle broken?

No. I think what you are seeing is a reflection. I believe it is the same cloud reflection that is on the hood only in microcosm.

Very nice!!

How long did it take to detail the engine?

I'd guess it took maybe a half-hour of actual work. There is a lot of wait time though. Waiting for the engine to dry after washing takes about 20 minutes and then after spraying the Engine Detailer it takes about 20 minutes for the resins to cure. I did the interior while waiting.
