ok, what now????

First off, 147MPH for that stock Senata is out of the question. It would have to be going down one hell of a hill. I've topped out several cars (on closed tracks) and 147 is just not within that car's range.

Second, radar cameras should be illegal. It's hard enough for a human to pick out the vehicle that is violating the speed in a pack of cars.

Third, 6 radar cameras within 7.8 miles? Does anyone else think this could be for money? That's like having an officer follow you, pull you over, and then write you a ticket for every speed you were over the limit. You'd get a ticket for 80,79,78, and so on. Safety my @$$.

It was a Sunday morning so there probably wasn't too many people on the road, and it was a rental. Maybe he just wanted to give one a really good road test before he bought one.
Hate to think that he would get a Hyundai that couldn't top 140 :rofl

I'm also glad to hear that one of the things that will happen (if he gets convicted) is that he'll be on a high risk for car rental companies...I will sleep much better now.

147 in a Hyundai?! Even some Mercedes' are electronically limited to 140. Hmm, tailwind, downhill, octane booster... riight.:D

I buy the 102mph but I am a little skeptical of the 147mph in that car.
I had a 86 Trans Am that would do 140 and then the valves would start to
float. I just do not see it having the Horsepower to get up there. I am not saying it's impossible. But????

I agree . Next thing you know the cops will be able to write parking tickets from the coffee shop.:nutkick

Pure fiction. A SONATA cant go 147 if dropped off a 50 story building.

Law enforcement is out of control. I read that there were road blocks on prom night checking if the passengers riding in the limo were drinking! WAY OUT OF CONTROL. We all need annoying lawyers.

I just checked and Hyundai says it's top speed is 130MPH. I don't think it is limited, but probably geared not to go any higher than that.

Hyundai officials say the V6 will turn 0-60 miles per hour times of about 7.5 seconds, with a top speed of 130 mph.
