I hesitate to use Simple Green 100% on engines unless it looks like someone sprayed 10W-40 on everything and followed up with a bag of dirt (that actually happened once, it was a high school prank). SG is very powerful and can cause a lot of problems if it touches uncoated metals or some paints. At that strength the WS will be long gone well before you even have the chance to rinse. If you still want to use simple green then you'll want to go to their site (www.simplegreen.com I think) and request a sample of the extreme stuff. You'll get a 32 OZ bottle w/ a foaming sprayer and it's completely safe for use on bare metals. Use that at maybe 50:1 and it will not strip your sealer.
BTW, if you have WS on the rims then car wash soap should be more than enough.
As a cost saving measure for my business I've been using just the car wash soap and a good wheel brush . I've been getting good results . I started changing my routine and doing the wheels last and using the left over soap I've been throwing away to clean up the rims. So far so good.
