OK, how about Moose Wax and Carnuba Moose?

First, what's the diff? Is one synthetic, and the other natural or blend? And, are they cleaner waxes, or pure waxes? What is their relation to Vanilla Moose, which no longer seems to be vanilla (or vanilla scented, anyhow)?

The website claims you can use Moose Wax on vinyl upholstery... has anyone tried this?

Is Carnuba Moose the same as the new Carnuba Wax?

Reviews are mixed, with respected opinions on both sides.

Vanilla Moose = pre wax glaze, cleaner, minor swirl remover, and I don't think it leaves any protection

Moose Wax = 1 step cleaner wax, or it can be used after Vanilla Moose

Carnuba Moose Wax = to be used after Vanilla Moose, Im not sure if its pure (no cleaners) or not

you should be able to apply all of them in the sun. Carnuba Moose Wax has better looks and slickness initially when applied next to Moose Wax. So the best combo is Vanilla Moose then Carnuba Moose Wax. Depending on your needs Moose Wax it self is also a very good product.

Vanilla moose is supposed to leave some protection, and so it is more like a waxed-cleaner (as opposed to a cleaner wax). I personally use it as a one-step on my own car as I find it to hide swirls the best out of any product i've used. Topping it with souveran or s100 noticeably amplified cobwebbing, so I just use VM by itself, since I don't drive much and garage it all the time anyway.

moose wax is an easy to use petroleum-based cleaner-wax without carnauba. I like it a lot, as it is good for people that just want a quick wash and shine. It cleans very well. I find it to be a very likeable bright shine, but people complain about it being sterile. After being on this board for so long I still am not sure what "sterile" means.

carnauba moose I think is supposed to be a pure wax containing carnauba. quite a few people get a good amount of protection out of it, and I think scottwax mentioned it going strong for as long as 6 months.

VM is a nice glaze easy on/easy off, durability is about 1 month. VM does have some cleaning abilities.

CMW is a nice wax/sealant also easy on/easy off. It really brings out dark colors on the wet side. Probably 2-3 months of durability, I believe the website sez 6 months.

I agree with all the above. CMW has decent durability provided you dont run it thru a car wash eh John ?? lol In my experience, VMW has very little protective qualites, and should be topped with your favorite sealant and/or Carnauba. Both CMW and VMW compliment each other when used together.....

MW, is a cleaner type product, and a good one at that, no abrasives but works well with a pad on oxidation. A good product for quick waxing situations, or weekend shows, rush jobs.....
