Well we got 6" of snow today. I didn't feel like going out and sliding all over the road. So, after a few hours I was ready to :hang: . Instead, I had a little bit of a photoshoot in my basement. Sorry, but I just lost my patience after posing bottles for the first three pictures.

Some of my new favorites - thanks to Detail City

Also the complete Menzerna line. Like that also!!

Who makes the thick pads stacked ontop of each other??

Like to see other people's products. thanks!!

And i thought my collection was good. Is that the 499.00 a jar wax that i see there? Your vehicles must love you. I am in the process of making my collection that extensive and full of quality. I live and work in maine and upstate ny so i feel your pain. I am in maine right now and we just got around ten inches!

I would love to see a comparrison of Souveran, Natty's Blue, & your 500 dollar ZYMOL jar. Im pretty sure souveran could take it. :bump

The large jar sitting on the red bag is Concours ($150). IMO it does this :chair: to Sovereign and then takes its lunch money :lmfao

I did the Sovereign/Concours comparison on two different cars when I first got the Zymol. My opinoin and the other car owner's as well was that the Zymol was a much better wax. Just two men's opinoin so let's not start an argument about whether Zymol is good or overpriced or whatever over it.

The smaller jar on top of the Concours is Detail wax. Not really sure why I ever bought it. I like to use it on interior wood and metal trim. It was pretty much a waste of money.

The next three jars are from the Pebble Beach Sampler kit. They are Vintage, Atlantique, and Destiny. I've only been using the Vintage so far. IMO its the best wax I've used. Again just my opinoin so let's not :boxing: OK?

Every time I talk about Zymol everyone likes to jump all over me and tell me I only like it because it's expensive or because it's Zymol. I can assure you I only use Zymol because I like the results I get with it. As you can see I have a large collection of products which I have compared it to. In fact I've probably thrown away as much stuff as is in these pictures. The next brand I would like to try out is Poorboy's, but that will have to wait until the spring I think. Even if PB's doesn't beat out Zymol I think the brand offers the best product for the $ compared to other brands when I look at the results others have gotten.

The pads in the plastic bag are Lake Country which I got from PAC and the smaller pads not in plastic are the spot buff kit which I got from Autogeek this week.

i would just like to see a comparrison picture. Both in the same light/angle. :surrender

Hey Mikey! No argument here. If you say the look of Zymol is better than Souveran that's good enough for me. I don't have Zymol. I've never used Zymol so until I can do a comparison myself I'll go with what you're saying.Btw very impressive inventory you have there.

I wish I had some. I did the comparison several years ago. I don't think I even owned a camera let alone a digital one at the time. My recollection of the test showed that Zymol left the finish significantly smoother and wetter looking. Of course as we all know the results you get are dependent upon local climate, the paint you use the product on, prep, and many other factors. So, while Zymol has been a better product for me to use it may not be the ideal one for you.

My biggest problem is that a lot of people will buy the Zymol they sell in Target or the creme/carbon/japon then compare it to Sovereign or Natty's or whatever. These waxes are nowhere near as good as the estate glazes. Also, a lot of people are completely prejudiced against Zymol because of the higher prices and apparently there used to be and still is to some degree the same kind of fanaticism surrounding Zymol that Zaino users often disply. So when I say I like Zymol I usually get :gun_banda

FYI - Concours is always on sale this time of year. You can get it for $100 ($50 off) right now if you buy it direct from Zymol.

I remember when I was in college, Zymol was rather new to the area I was in. You couldn't buy anywhere, in fact the Fire Department I was on had a connection to a dealer.

It was funny, because the debate raged about it, and if it was better, worse or not even wax.

I used to use it religiously, and only stopped when I couldn't find it anymore. Since then I have used other products, but may return to it again..... :stuart:

I'm sorry I am/was mistaken. I completely forgot that a friend recently gave me some Zymol Vintage to try. However with winter upon me/us I will not be applying this wax to my car until late spring.

I think when using the Vintage there is so much wax content in it that it's important to use the hand application technique Zymol describes in their user guide. You can feel the wax melting in your hands from your body heat. Also, you can put a thinner coat of wax on that way.

Okay thanks Mikeyc for the tip. That is how I applied the Victoria's Red wax. I will have to remember that. Any polish you recommend under it?

I usually use the Zymol HD-Cleanse paint cleaner to prep the paint and then I apply the wax. I've never needed a polish. HD-Cleanse is non-abrasive like AIO. So, if you have swirls or anything like that you'll want to use an abrasive polish like PB's SSR 2.5 or Menzerna IP or Optimum Compound before hand.
