:ticked

It's my fault but I need a body shop in the Atlanta area - no one hurt nothing serious but I need a new hood and bumper cover. Maybe I'll post some picts tonight ... And to think I only drove the Z-3 because the Tacoma has a flat tire... :boohoo :angry

Thanks for the sympathy Steve and the recommendation Nick!

I got a recommendation for Classic Collission in Alpharetta - anyone dealt with them?

On a separate note - very little scratching occurred - my dent is still shiney! I don't think I had anything on it since I'd been working on touching up a few nicks recently. If anything it was UPP. The trunk however is all hazy from SSR3 - I'm embarassed to send it to a body shop like that. I'll have to find time to SSR1 the trunk before it goes to the body shop!! It's a pride thing. :beat

Uh, isn't that like cleaning before the cleaning crew comes? :lol

And the sad thing is, we ALL understand & would do the same!! :crazy

Sorry for the misfortune. I know the feeling. I imagine most every one of us has at one time or another.

Stopped at a light - light changed. We all started moving. For some reason the car in front of me stopped again. I was a little too slow in reacting. No damage to the Explorer I hit. No injuries - which is the most important thing. It looks bad but I really think if we'd hit bumper to bumper there would have been no damage. :brick

That really blows. I saw an M3 back into a pickup at Starbucks yesterday. Not a good day in Atlanta for BMW.

Fortunately I haven't had to deal with body shops in quite some time. Please let us know how it goes so we'll be prepared just in case.

I may be a little late, but I have heard nothing but good things about Sports and Imports in Chamblee. They arent cheap, as they only work on Lexus, Mercedes and BMW's, but I have seen some good work come out of their shop. If you haven't picked one already, let me know who you end up going with. We do glass work for a few body shops around the ATL.

It looks like its crying in the pics. Good to hear no one was hurt, that is the important thing.

I have learned to never never never never trust an SUV, when it accelerates in front of me, to follow it immediately. I always wait a second or two before starting. For some reason, they start-stop like that all the time!

I took the car in yesterday for repair. I ended up at Performance Auto Collission in Alpharetta. I got three recommendations for them vs just one each for all the others. I hope they are good! :kneel

I was all set to leave my car when I heard three of the guys there having a discussion about whether a particular car was a straight black or a metallic black. :wha

So I said - "Whoa guys your scaring me here. I'm about to leave my car here for body work and you guys can't decide if a paint job is metallic or not?" We talked for a while and they convinced me it was more a comment on how dirty the Volvo in question was. That the dust on that car made it look metallic ... Took them about 15 minutes to convice me after that comment!
