This one is a bit "rice". Some guys are using the aerosol version of PlastiDip on plastic trim/fiberglass pieces such as spoilers, splitters, roll bars, etc. The nice thing about PlastiDip is that it isn't quite permanant. If you don't like the texture you can remove it by peeling it off. This might be an easy fix faded trim pieces.
 
I used it on the area around my shifter in my audi. Whatever OEM coating was on there was scratched and looked awful. I stripped it down, sprayed PlastiDip on there, and all has been well for the last couple of years. There are some how-to threads around.
 
I just sprayed a trunk spoiler and it turned out great. Nice matte black finish. It should be pretty durable as some guys are using it on old wheels.
