OCW or DP Booster wax over Max Wax?

I'm looking to try a carnauba wax and Max Wax has caught my attention. Should I go with OCW or DP's "Final Gloss Booster Spray Wax" as my spray wax to top it after a wash? The price difference between the two is only $3. I'm leaning towards OCW simply because it's so highly regarded around here and I haven't heard much about DP's spray wax. I already have Aquawax (which I love) but I thought OCW or DP spray wax would be better with Max Wax. What do you guys think?

If it were me, I'd buy both and try all 3 over it... only to learn that AW is better than the others and I should have saved my money.

Which is exactly what I've done. I feel AW is the best "leave something behind" anything there is out there... the OCW is reserved for my brother's fiance's POS.

I'm still leaning towards OCW. I want it anyway to use over Poli-Seal for a nice two-step.

I also thought of using it alone...............keep the suggestions coming.

Having used both, I found that AW is better in almost every way than OCW (durability, gloss, slickness, ease of use). I have not used OCW since finding AW...

AW is a hard product to beat as far as looks..slickness and longevity and cost...I use it every 6 weeks during good weather and it just works..I find dirt does not stick to as a rinse with just water gets it clean...thats all I do in the winter...in the summer after a rain paint looks clean..

Great bang for the buck..

I'm surprised you use the EX-P instead of DG 105 or 111. The EX-P won't last as long, is more expensive, and I think the 105 looks at least as good.
Actually, in terms of looks, I still prefer EX-P. I can get EX-P cheaper the 105. I have to ship from the US for 105, whereas I can get EX-P locally for cheap. I also love the smell of EX-P, and dislike the smell of most DG products.

I have AW and OCW. Both are superb products but for me OCW adds that bit of brilliance to the paint that the AW lacks. I reserve the OCW for our cars and use the AW on customers' cars. It's really a matter of personal preference I suppose but as far as value goes AW can't be beat. I'll soon experiment with FK#425 atop OCW to see if there is a bit more bling to be had.

Try ClearSeal over your Max Wax... I have been using it over 476 and it's great in terms of looks, durability and ease of use. I've also used AW and OCW a bunch and they, too, are great products and you'd be happy with either. Personally, I give the node to CS in each of these catagories and recommend going that route.

If cost is a consideration then just get AW and you'll be a happy camper...

Aren't both AW and OCW non compatible with waxes though? I thought they both have sealants in them? Wouldn't that cause bonding issues over a wax?

AW has no wax in it...but it does bond to wax...I have used it over collinite and other waxes and no problems...it just works...there are posts here where used over Natty's..collinite...Sov..and a few others...and worked fine and lasted...It works so good they raised the price...lol...

Also OCW does have wax in it with a polymer sealant also...

OCW 'n AW FTW :D

edit: I was wondering how is AW on top of Zaino CS?? Anyone?

just love those acronyms.

Of the two products mentioned in the title, I pick OCW. I have used both and IMO OCW gets the nod. I have yet to try AW, but I will. From what I read it's great; however, if it has more a sealanty sharp look to it, then it probably isnt what I'm looking for.

I think you're a bit off on that. People use it because it does not have the sealant sharp look. I think it looks deep and wet...
