OCKlasse Detailed: SAAB 9³ Paint Restoration (49 Pics)

This was my project from Monday. The customer purchased the car used and was looking to have it brought back to "new" standards. It was apparent that this car had never been garaged, and was in fact severely neglected. Both the front and rear bumpers had severe oxidation, and the beginnings of clearcoat failure was rampant on the hood. This car required a lot of wetsanding including a large portion of the hood.

The process throughout the entire car was:

PO203S via PFW (x2) (The hood required many more passes)

106ff and a finishing pad

I tried using 105, but it just wasn't working the way I wanted it to.

I finished the car around 9 PM, so please excuse the lack of adequate afters.

Great in process pics of the engine cleaning. I'm having the same issue with the Swissvax Wheel Brush splitting the red plastic.

Yeah, I would say you get what you pay for, but it was $10

Thanks Malekj00n!

What happened to your pictures? Do you have any interior shots after using FK108?

Sorry to let this question go unanswered for so long. I did not use 108 on the interior. I did, however, use FX-100 sealant glaze. Works beautifully on wood trim.
