Guys, I was in Ocean State Job Lot (Medway, MA) a couple of days ago and noticed they had E-Z UPs available for sale. The smaller one was $60 and was probably 10’ x 10’. They had a much larger unit for $130. This appeared to be a good deal. I didn’t get too close to them for fear of the purchasing impulse

Is EZ Up a good brand?



I saw Pepboys had one for about 70 or 80. Different brand though. Plus I have a 10% coupon. It said it had the quick set-up feature. Didnt buy it though.

Thanks. Gonna go to the one in Norwood tomorrow to pick one up. Is 10x10 good for a Civic?

I agree, if I were going to buy one of these, it would be this brand.



I don't know if that 10' x 10' size would be quite large for a Civic...

EZ UP is a great brand. I have one and it is very well built.

EZ-UP is the best brand. I've seen so many of the other ones broken (some by very angry owners) at the track days I go to. I use mine at the beach every year too, its about 5 years old now and still holding up strong.

Are you guys saying that K-Mart sells the EZ Up brand canopy? I would like a 12X15 or so size to fit large cars (68 Lincoln Continental) and SUV's.

If not then where is the best place to buy one?

I also purchased this one at Kmart for $99.99 2 weeks ago. After the initial setup it takes 2 people less than a minute to set it up and take it down.

I just bought a 12 x 12 Sierra II. The bottom base is 12 x 12 but at the top (canopy) it's 10 x 10. So it's tapered. It cost me $94 after taxes.



It was pain to set it up by myself. It was hard to push the black thing that the pins are in up. Thinking of returning it... maybe. I dont want to know how hard regular canopies are to assemble.
