Well i am in High School. I plan on getting a MBA. I really like marketing and business but dont know what i would do with that degree. Do yall know.... I know this sounds dumb to ask... I have some time to think though.... any susgestions....how about yall

Uh.... I'm not sure what exactly you are asking. Are you looking for suggestions on what to do after school or what? If you got a degree and training in marketing and business, then I would suggest you get a job in marketing or business.

Once you hit college, everything becomes a lot more clear.

You will most likely get jobs by becoming active in the campus community and trying new things to see what you like. Contacts become a large part in getting an internship and eventually a profession.

Where are you thinking of going to school? For business, I would look for an accredited business school (only 1/3 of business schools are accredited).

Trust me... accreditation is very serious. Fortunately for me the school I attended for my Bachelor's degree took credits from the one I got my AA from. However, it was one of only three schools in the country outside of Corrinthian Colleges that would take the credits. I filed a lawsuit against them last month for fraud and several other things. If there is one thing that studying the law has given me then I'd say it was the knowledge to go back and sue the school for my tuition back. :naughty Anyway, the bottom line is that the whole problem is that they weren't honest about their accreditation. If the school isn't recognized as a good school with certian standards, then the degree you get might as well be written on toilet paper because that is all it will be good for.

I am currently working on my MBA. Let me suggest that you really concentrate on getting your bachelor's degree(s) first. The MBA is a good long term goal, but keep your nose in the books and apply yourself toward your BS and the immediate future. Your GPA is very important. While working on your BS try a few internships through the school. Not only will it help your GPA, but it will give you experience in certain fields and you can determine whether or not you like a given field. Study hard, go to class. These things will be important when applying for grad school. Don't forget to have a good time in college, just not at the expense of your education. With an MBA, the possibilities are limitless in the business field. Hop on Monster and look at some of the opportunities for those with an MBA. This will also give you an idea of what you may want to lean towards. Good Luck!
