NY: 2014 Honda Odyssey arrives with built-in vacuum

Although it might sound more like a Jetsons-style feature, the 2014 Honda Odyssey will offer a built-in vacuum cleaner when it goes on sale this summer.
Part of the refreshed-for-2014 Odyssey's Touring Elite package, the HondaVAC in-vehicle vacuum system was developed with Shop-Vac. A high-power vacuum, replaceable filter and canister bag are included, as are nozzle accessories that are integrated into the driver's side of the van's rear cargo area.
Since it runs off of the Odyssey's electrical system, the HondaVAC does not need to be recharged. It can be operated any time the Odyssey is running and it will continue to work for eight minutes after the van has been turned off.
To further mark 2014, Honda has given its van a new look with revisions to its hood and fenders, as well as its grille and front fascia. Two-tone mirror housings, dark finish projector beam headlamps and LED tail lamps are also part of the package.
