NXT'd my car... pictures!! pics should work

well, i finally tried the nxt wax. it worked pretty good. Oh and my camera sucks. im getting a new one for x-mas so clearer pictures to come...

1. Nxt wash
2. Prowax clay
3. megs. cleaner wax
4. NXT wax. took off with polishing pad on rotary
5. Mothers mag polish on rims
6. Turtle wax: tire wax on tires

Looks great! but..........:nono
Don't use mag polish on clear coated wheels, next time put a coat of NXT or (Wheel Wax is what I use) instead. Remember NXT was no formulated for use with a rotary
 
i dont know, i thought i was doing good. I put the nxt on with the applicator that came with it. Let dry for 10-15 mins. and removed with a polishing pad. Is there something wrong with that? if there is please let me know. :confused:

Yes. A rotary is for paint defect removal, not wax/sealant removal. You can remove wax/sealnat with a PC using a MF bonnet. The problem with using a rotary to remove wax/sealant is the rotary could leave buffer swirl, hologramming or burn the paint. I believe NXT does has a little filler which may cover the buffer swirl if any was left.

i was going slow. probably 1200-1800 rpms...if that.
