Well, today i picked up the NXT wax and the protechtant, it smells so yummy, Found it Advance Auto Parts, cant wait to try the wax out, suppose to get 6 in. of snow and ice tonite : (, oh well, tried out the protechtant, seems kinda shiny, but nice, and it smells so great, like key lime pie, wish it were edible. Does the soap also smell like this?

Quote: The first thing I noticed about NXT Tech Wax is that it has a very smooth texture and a light, cheerful key lime fragrance with just a hint of Jujubes DavidB.

~Hope this helps~

justadumbarchitect * so i question everything*

I enjoyed the fragrance, but it is very strong. This might go unnoticed when working outside, but as it is Michigan in January, I had to work inside the shop. After applying the NXT to the whole car, the shop was filled with the smell...not overly unpleasant, but very strong. Honestly, I can smell the "key-lime"-yness when it's in the bottle, but while applying it, it seemed to have a perfume kind of smell. Much more akin to the Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo. That was my experience.

Hmm maybe we should have a vote on the best smelling detailing product. My vote would be for Meguiars Endurance that stuff really does smell good enough to eat :D

I'd probably eat #26 as well.

Umm. I got Nxt and it sure don't smell like key lime pie! - unless you make it out of Windex..it has a very chemical smell to it - best smelling is Cherry Wet Wax - it smells like Cherries ;)

So does it smell like Key Lime Pie or Mosquito Repellant??? :nixweiss

Well, I guess I'm responsible for the "mosquito repellent" comment. And I'm sticking to it! :D I was working in the garage, so maybe the environment didn't help. The smell was strong, and by the time I was done with the car, I had had enough.

The Tech wax works so well though that I'm willing to put up with it!

Now, Meguiar's Quick Detailer smells very nice. I could smell that stuff all day long!:xyxthumbs

I think I might get some of this and try it for the mid winter touchup. I wonder if it smells better than Zymol Carbon? that would be tough.

It's possible that I may have tasted Zymol Carbon while under the influence once....and it's possible that it might have made my tounge numb. I think that's just a nasty rumor though...heh heh... :nono

The other one that smells really good is Sonus QD. It has a nice fruity scent.

Plexus smells awesome too, but in a "clean" way not in a "hey this might be delicious" way.

I don't use Zymol Carbon any more but I still use their wash. Seriously, that Zymol smell makes detailing more enjoyable....I LOVE the smell of that stuff...it just smells like detailing.

:lol Mmmmm, key lime - yet another detailing product you can put in a blender and should keep away from the kids!

I'd like to get my hands on Souveran and several other products someday.... but the only really compelling reason for this is because they smell good! :o
