NXT Paste Wax pics

Thanks for the kind words.

I forgot to mention that I have a base of AIOx2, SGx5 (maybe even 6). This is the 3rd coat of NXT in 6 weeks.

No problems getting the paste to apply thinly? I can't get a thin enough layer with it?????? Oh well, I will just stick with the liquid. :D

I am also NOT impressed with the QD at all. I have used a full bottle and I just can't seem to make myself like it. :nixweiss

I am going to give it another try when the weather warms up a bit. I still prefer the mother's showtime over all of the readily available QD's.

I initially didn't like Speed Detailer at all. It needed to be buffed or wiped a lot before I was able to remove streaks. I tried shaking the bottle and spraying less QD and that seems to do the trick. It works very well with NXT paste, better than EO or Sonus Acrylic Spritz. If I had a different LSP, I'd use something other than Speed Detailer.

For some reason, NXT seems to really excel on blue paint, and the darker the blue, the better.

Car looks great...and at that size, adding layers is a breeze!

Totally agree, it is my LSP of choice on my car. NXT gives my paint the look that I desire. Over a properly prepped surface of course.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I love the techwax the way it is via machine. I picked up the paste just in case I heard something special about it. Have'nt opened it yet...

I only bought the paste version because of all the durability issues that many seem to voice about the liquid. The paste version seems to do good. 6 weeks went by between the 2nd and 3rd coats and it was nowhere near gone. I just wanted to refresh the coating just because it was so easy to do and I wanted to pamper the car, not because it was not beading or dull or what not. I do miss out on PC applicability with the paste. Oh well.
