Nuba Liquid wax into a Spray Wax

Do you guys think it's possible to turn a liquid Carnauba wax (Mothers Cal. Gold Liquid Carnauba Wax for example) into a spray wax by mixing something to in it to dilute it? Any suggestions?

Well I don't think it'll mix with water....? Not sure tho as I haven't tried it before? Unless the formula is water based. :)

I don't think it'll mix with water either. I tried mixing CarLack68 Long Life Sealant with water a while back and that didn't work. Wasted product. :aww:

I dont think its ever going to work very well. There are a number of spray products out there you could consider, Carnuba Jett, Autoglym Aqua Wax all contain Nuba wax.

Also worth looking at Optimum Spray Wax but that is polymer based. All are easy to use and give good results.

I have noticed you love to ask about spray products or converting your current waxes to sprays!

You can run it through a sprayer designed for thicker product, but it's still going to need to be spread and then rubbed in, then buffed off.

We used to do that with Meguiar's #66 when I worked on aircraft, we would spray a couple lines per panel, then pick them up with the rotary, then one of the rookies would wipe it off with Aquawax.

I know right? Thanks for the input Geoff.

I've always wanted something as durable as wax but as easy to use as a spray wax. While I'm sure all the products you mentioned are very good products, being in the Philippines, I just can't get them easily and inexpensively.

The product range here in my country is limited. It's Mothers-Meguairs-Adams at best. I've used Mothers Reflections Spray Wax, FX Spray Wax and even the new Cal. Gold Spray Wax. I figured since I have a lot of Mothers Pure Nuba Liquid, (which I don't use much since I got the paste version and my brother in Canada sent me a couple of tubs of P21s 110% Nuba wax) I'd try to experiment on it.

Thanks for the input. Looks like a solid suggestion but doesn't quite hit what I want to achieve. I'm trying to turn it into a spray wax like Mothers Reflections Spray wax or something along that line.
