Not what we had planned for the holidays

So this past week my family was dealt a devastating blow. My beloved mother suddenly passed away on Tuesday December 17th after a brief and sudden illness. To say my family and I are in disbelief is a understatement. I spoke with her on Friday evening and all was fine. By Saturday night she was in the hospital and early Tuesday she passed.

Yesterday was her service and if anyone who knows New England weather knows December can be awful. It just so happens that it was sunny and 50 degrees outside and it made for a beautiful service.

I guess it just goes to show you never know when your time is up and to live life to the fullest. I wasn`t going to post but I feel as though this community is part of my family just as much as my blood family.

She was always a big supporter of my business and my passion for detailing. In fact I am pretty positive her neatness and always wanting to keep things clean rubbed off on me lol.

Justins00SS- My sincere condolences, that`s gotta be tough coming out of the blue right at the Holidays.

I`m glad the weather cooperated for her memorial service, and judging by you, IMO she sure did the Parenthood thing right.

Very sorry for your loss Justin never easy esp this time of year. I aways say great things never die. My dad passed this year on July 27 so it hits home. Hang in there.

Justin, I’m so sorry to hear this. I believe Accumulator hit the nail on the head. By all appearances your Mom did a great job on the Mother side of things. God bless you.

Hey Buddy, I am so sorry to hear about your Mother. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.

I wish you and your family the strength you need to handle this tragic event.

Justins00ss:
My deepest sympathy for the loss of your mother at this time of the year. Like many said, keep remembering the good times and the attributes, morals, and traditions she taught you that make up your character. It is the best way to honor her, even though she is gone from this life.

My mom past away in November 2017. She loved poetry, being an English high school teacher. She found this poem in a local paper that she wanted printed in her obituary. It fits her to a T and I think it applies to a lot people, so I will share it with you.
When I Come to End of My Journey
By Mrs. Lyman Hancock (from the Green Bay Press-Gazette Writer’s corner; Date unknown)

When I come to the end of my journey and I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget, if you can, that I frowned and remember only the smile.
Forget unkind words I have spoken; remember the good I have done.
Forget that I ever had heartache and remember I’ve had loads of fun.
Forget that I have stumbled and blundered and sometimes fell by the way.
Remember that I have fought some hard battles and won at the close of the day.
Then forget to grieve for my going.
I would not have you sad for a day, but in the summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place that I lay,
and come in the shade of the evening when the sun paints the sky in the West.
Stand for a few moments beside me and remember only my best.

So sorry to hear about your mother passed away Justin. Condolences to you and your family. Must be chocking when it happened so fast. Glad to that the memorial service was nice. You are such a good guy and she did great raising you my friend.

Regards Tony

Thanks everyone. We spent the holidays with my dad and the rest of our family. Which helped ease the situation.

We are on the road now headed down to Stuart Florida to relax and get away.

Hope you and your family get a great vacation Justin!

Nice to share the christmas with family in the times of what happened.
