Not even hurricane Wilma will can stop me!!!

There is no cure!
my whole car has been filthy with all this wet rain and now hurricam wilma.

today was spent shuttering up. unfortunately didnt get a chance to wash the car before i pulled her into the garage. so i guess ima wait till the storm passes for that. but the interior is another story. the car and me have been locked up since 3pm today. so time passed. saw the news a bit. surfed DC, but nothing would keep me occupied. so instead of just fallin asleep i gave the car a total interior detail.

-oxyclean on carpets. simple green for spots.
-extract with 5hp wet/dry vac
-woolite/water mix 1:6 on all plastics, vinyl, and leather surfaces.
-plastic and vinyl got poorboys natural look
-leather got lexol conditioner
-interior wood trim got Vanilla Moose
-foot pedals were cleaned with simple green
-windows used adams glass cleaner

its times like these that we cant get out or leave our homes which lets me catch up on all the small things that take up time of their own and are hard to include them on u're regular wash/details. fortunately i did all these at once so they probably wont need a re-do for about a month.

this will all be maintained with meguairs quik interior detailer, which may i add, is the best thing ever.

sorry for no befores. im an enthusiast so my interior never looks bad enough to compare.

carpet lines are like the finshing touch.

u know what else feels better. a good shower after a sweaty muggy detail in a closed garage. NOW THAT FEELS GOOD.

and the correct color for it is called "terra"

well in that case I love the terra!!! I would rather have your muddy than my 40 degrees.

off topic: i lost power at around 3am. still without power, fortunately i still have my laptop and a wireless broadband card. my computer in my room is probably fried, i didnt turn it off and disconnect it before the power went off. hopefully there wasnt a major power surge. :(

ive looked outside already and theres fallen palms and trees but no major property damage. just a broken screen.

i was worried since there wasnt any sun or heat to dry the carpets that they would still stay wet and smell moldy but it actually dry quite well in my closed muggy garage.

u're a crazy detailer when detailing effects the pplace u wanna live in
Heck, the weather isn't so great out here right now, or at least where I'm located. The nights are bringing in TONS of fog and it stays here into the afternoon on some days, it sucks!

Nice job on the car too. As others have said, that leather is really cool!

Joy - good to see your ok and still able to post!! If you ever needed the carpets dry quick you can use a hair drier. I have used it in the past before deliver of the car espcecially in winter when its hard to dry carpets.

Glad to hear you S. Floridians are OK and still worrying about detailing. I'm still waiting to hear how my moms condo held up in Marco Island..
