Noob which products and Pads...

After lurking for a while, I'm going to submit my first order to Autopia and get hooked up with a PC and supplies. :buffing:.

I'm planning to get the Sonus DAS Polisher kit which comes with DAS Orange, Green and Blue Pads (and two MF Bonnets), at the moment you also get a bottle of SFX-2.

I want to cheifly use it to maintain our own cars, I drive an light metalic green/blue Audi A6 which is excellent shape, it has been treated to the Megs consumer range, i.e. clay, Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner, Deep Crystal Polish, and Gold Class Wax. I've then experimented with some NXT and S100 on top. It has almost no swirls and the paint is in excellent condition.

My wife drives a Volvo V70 T5 in midnight blue which has not been with us for long so has only been treated to Gold Class Wax. This has some light swirling when closesly inspected but other than that the paint is good.

Along with the Buffer I was going to order some AIO, and SG with my initial thoughts being to perform the following on both cars...

NXT Wash

Clay (Megs Quik Clay)

Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner

SFX-2/Deep Crystal Polish

AIO

SG x 2

S100

My questions are...

Should I be keeping the Megs Deep Crystal products or replacing them with more prosumer products?

Would the SFX-2 be enough for any light swirling I may encounter (difficult to answer as one mans light might be another heavy)?

Whats pads should I use at each stage... I've guessed Blue for the paint cleaner, Green and maybe orange for the SFX-2/Deep Crystal Polish, Blue for the AIO, SG and S100.

Comments please. I'm UK based so the Megs consumer range is the only Autopian product that I can get easily of the shelf. Suggestions that Autopia stock would be the most useful so I can get it in one single order.

Thanks
