Hi guys. First let me say that this is I was surprised with the level of courtesy and respect for each other that is present in this forum and am proud to be a member. :goodjob

I have a white '06 325i and noticed some stubborn black stains on my chrome exhaust trim. It was probably caused by the fumes/exhausts that the car spits out when I accelerate fast. Can somebody please help me out? I'll try to post some pics of what I'm talking about as soon as I get a chance.

This is an awesome site - I learn something every time I come here.

S100 is great stuff. Honestly, most metal polishes will accomplish your goal. I'm a fan of Master Formula and have some Clearkote polish on order. Even the trusty Mother's chrome polish does the trick. Good luck!

Another great pdocut is Noxon. You can find it at autozone or advancedautoparts. It cleans alot of metals and works really well IMO. Its in a green plastic container. I will give that S100 a try and make a comparison (maybe).

Clean the chrome and then apply a sealant to it, to make future cleaning easier. I clean my stainless exhaust tip with car soap and water now, and apply Klasse AIO to it every month or two. It's always very easy to clean and looks terrific.
