Ya ya noob question but I got to ask it sooner or later if im ever going to know. Whats the difference between colored pads? Example : here are the results of just M-105 on orange pad (quote from tuscarora dave's 500$ van). Any help would be great.:help:

Different pads from different manufacturers can be the same color and a different abrasive level. That chart is good, but it would be better if we as a community would tell what the pad is - i.e. a 'Lake Country light polish pad' instead of 'a green pad.' It would ease a lot of confusion for folks. CharlesW was always mentioning this.

Speaking of Charles, can we get him back yet? :(

I sure wish Charles would come back I really miss his posts.
He was a valuable asset to DC
