Hi all, my name is Andrew. I have a 2014 Cadillac Ats black of course. I used some Megs 105 I had laying around, I must have overworked it because when I went to wipe it off I had small white specks that was hard to remove. Ordered some Fg400 Fg4000 some new mf towels, pads 5.5 lc hydro. What's a good tire dressing?

I like Poorboys bold n brite, or Duragloss. I hear Blackfire us good too, haven't tried it yet.

BTW - welcome

Welcome, always good to get a new inmate. What polisher are you using and what color pads? What level of shine are you trying to achieve? I don't know what defects you are trying to remove. Menz 4000 is pretty mild, you must get need a rougher pad. Post some pics and we will try to help.

I'm from Monmouth county. I also have fg 400. I have cyan tangerine and red. Harbor freight d/a. Typical swirls some light scratches. Just need to get more stuff like wheel cleaner, wheel well cleaner, brushes, the whole nine.

From 1 noob to another, welcome. 50/50 water and ipa alcohol liberal on microfiber should help with compound adhesion.

Thanks for the welcome. When you say 50/50 is that distilled water? So after wipedown depending on looks I could go to menzerna wax? I'm also thinking since right now I only have fg400, would doing a second pass using a black pad finish out better?
