No matter who wins...

Our nation is split almost right down the middle. Repetitive negative commercials, heated political debates and partisan interviews were fuel to the fire. I hope that after tonight, no matter who wins, that the people of the United States can come back together, "United We Stand".

I made my choice today and I wish both candidates the best. When a winner is announced, I will support my President, be proud to be an American and be thankful for the Democratic process.

I just want to encourage Detail City members to support whoever wins tonight, even if your choice does not win. The President Of The United States needs the support of the American people.

Of course, if I don't win on a massive write in campaign that I have been running, then feel free to riot in the streets. :naughty j/k

Let's just hope Bush does a better job with his next four years. He failed to keep any campaign promises from 2000 and now that he's re-elected, he has even less incentive to do so. :(
 
Most elected officials don't follow through with their promises it seems. Nothing unusual about that. Besides, he got involved in a war less than a year in office. That tends to throw a wrench in things.

It would've been nice to finish the first war (the justifiable one) before starting another one though. That was his own wrench there....
 
Well, let me know when perfect man is running for president that everybody can agree with. Its not possible to please everybody. Everbody has something that they believe that someone else disagrees with. You'd be surprised how many people feel that I am not the smoothest man in the world. All evidence to the contrary, they seem to think that the mullet is not chick bait. You know what I say? I'm just going to take my 3 dates back to my place tonight and have our own private election. <omit off color humor here> :naughty
