Though I have never been a fan boy of Groits stuff in general some are pretty good and have served me well. I recently decided to try the one step sealant on my personal Motorhome for several reasons. 1 it offers swirl removal, 2 it is supposed to be long lasting and 3 it is supposed to be easy to use.
I just finished the annual detail of the motorhome and so far it has turned out really nice. First I clayed the entire surface to remove surface debris and there was a LOT there.
As promised the one step sealant did a great job of removing swirls using a PC 7424 and a 6" orange pad. The polish portion broke down easily on the full body paint on top of fiberglass and even on the Black areas it seemed to removal the swirls without being too picky on polishing time or method of polishing.
It was SUPER easy to wipe off after a brief cure time as I buffed the next section. Does anyone know if it contains fillers or not? I am hoping the swirl removal is not temporary. It takes a long time to buff a motorhome like this and I dont want to do it every 3 months.
The finish is really deep and glossy and slick to the touch. I guess the clay bar helped too. In the past I have used Poli Seal, Duragloss total polish and several others. This was by far the best looking job yet and maybe the easiest too. But I searched here and didn't see much on the one step product.
Does anyone have any feedback on their use of fillers or length of time it holds up outside etc?
