Nitro seal life once’s opened?

I found an old set of Nitroseal. They’ve been used before. But then I sealed caps with tape. I opened the bottles. The part A seems good. The part B seems thicker than normal. But will it still be ok to use?

Most two part chemicals that I have experience have a two year or less shelf life PRIOR to opening. Lots of them say to mix all of it once it is opened. I tend to think there are a couple of reasons for that other that it not being any good the next day, but maybe so.

If it was me and I was hell bent on using it for whatever reason-- I would mix some up ( small amount ) and see what it does on something not so important- like maybe a lawn mover or your neighbors truck

They`re not meant to be mixed. It`s not epoxy. You apply Part 1 to the paint, then Part 2. Wait while it hazes and dries and remove. The longer you wait before removal the better.
