Nissan Cube Shop Car Wrapped!

Hey guys. Just picked up my "shop car" Nissan Cube from the shop today after getting it wrapped. I'm going to be using this vehicle as a loaner for my customers, as well as a rig for when I do mobile jobs, which isn't very often. Anyway, I got a simple wrap done and figured I would post up some pictures. It's not toally finished (wheels getting painted, grille/emblems getting paintes, and hood getting logos) but it's pretty much there. I look forward to hearing your thoughts! Sorry for the phone pic, I will get some hi res images up soon! Thanks

Thanks for looking!

A few years back I was at Mid-America Motorplex in Omaha for a big Nissan convention. A couple of guys from the east coast flew in and got a Cube as a rental. We hijacked some stickers off the Hilton shuttle van, removed all of the intake piping up to the MAF sensor, and stripped off the axle back exhaust.

Man, you would be surprised how much fun you can have with someone else's Cube at a race track.

EDIT: I guess the lesson here is not to let me borrow your car.

Very cool and practical!
Thank you! It was a pretty easy choice for me. Gets lots of look on the road since it's unique, was super cheap to buy, and gets 40mpg on the highway!
damn, business must be good Dave
Thanks man! I can't compain!
Wasn't a fan of the "Cube" till I saw yours in the "matte finish". Looks good.
Thank you John, I appreciate it!

Haha! That sounds like a lot of fun!! Hope none of my customers get that idea...:rofl
Wow, that actually looks AWESOME! Great job on the design!
Thanks Todd! :yourrock

Very sharp !!!! I love it...
Thank you Pat! :bigups

Maybe I'm missing something. Don't you promote shine or do you install the wrap?
I'm surprised this took so long to come up. No I don't install the wrap, and yes I promote shine. However, a shiny car with lettering slapped on it did not sit well with me. To catch people's eye I decided to go with the flat look. It is less the maintain (from a swirl standpoint) and more than half the price of a full color glossy wrap. I'm sure there will be some other who question it, but for the most part everyone seems to get that it's a styling/attention grabbing thing, not a representation of what a car would look like after it is detailed.
Not too loud and not too bright. This one looks very cool to one eye's:bigups
Thanks Angelo! :bigups

Looks nice Dave, I'm jealous!

I'm also not a fan of this car but in that color and the purpose you will be using it for, I lile it very much. It's a beautiful mobile billboard.

Flannigan,

Born to love shiny cars, it is my first time to think a matt black car look cool!

nice! glad to see someone using a cube for mobile use, let me know how it performs space wise for mobile, was looking into getting a cube or a scion XB(leaning more towards the first gen xb as its toyota) for a mobile detailing rig, dont have a need for water tanks here so would be great, would add partial slide out floor on mine so i can get equipment out easy nice choice of car though, not a fan of matte but thats my taste, good idea though!

LOL, thanks Mike!
Looks great Dave.

Cool idea of putting the scan code on the gas door.
Thanks Troy! I thought that was pretty cool too!
I like it
Thanks!
That baby looks like it needs some B2B! :D

Looks pretty cool, I must admit!
LOL, if you send me anymore B2b you bast...er...Thanks Jimbo Jones! :rofl
That is what I think. It is a good business deduction. How much did the wrap cost. It is very classy.
Thanks Al. It ran right around $2k. Just the flat black wrap was 1500, then 500 for the desing and application of the lettering.

Thanks man! That is what I was going for! Billboard on wheels!

Yep, I don't have the need for a water tank either, and this fits the gill perfectly. With the seats down I can fit everything I need for a detail in there and still have some room left over. It gets awesome gas mileage, and is very cheap to maintain. Not the most fun to drive, but that isn't what its for. Thanks!
