I just bought a Nikota cordless polisher after a positive review here. I don't have access to an outlet where I detail and cannot yet justify the cost of a PC so the Nikota seemed like the way to go. I am going to buy some Propel pads from Exceldetail.com and was wondering about a backing plate. I took off the factory plate and it does not look like any of the replacement plates I have seen. It has the counterweight built in and the pad has the female threads and the male thread is in the head of the polisher. Anyone know where I can get 3 or 5 inch backing plates that will fit. The current plate is a 4 inch which makes use with a 4 inch pad a little dangerous if it tips on the side. Nikota owners help me out!
