Nice Wash System Nozzle

Whats the difference in that one and a normal nozzle at walmart?

Ive yet to find a nozzle that works good with out crappy water pressure. :(

The differance is it has 8 spray patterns. Is easy to grip. And has a on - off switch.

Yeah Blue Libby is right. Unless you have good water pressure then the nozzle does very little for you. I brought the Gilmore Fireman nozzles, and I was expecting far better result than I achived. However I could not blame the nozzle, it was the water pressure. I wish that I had an in-line pump with a reserve tank that would allow me to boost the water pressure. My pressure washer sometimes has a problem with keeping a cosntant stream.

I got one of those at Lowes on clearance in there car care isle for $1.50 last weekend. They had a few I thought about getting a 2nd one as a backup.

I use a nozzle similar to this -- RUBBER HOSE NOZZLE from iKitchen.com -- but mine is about 6 inches long and made of soft rubber. You just bend the nozzle and water flows and when you release the flow stops. It's great because you don't have to worry about scratching the paint with your nozzle and you can use it to sheet rinse after washing. I've had it so long that I can't remember where I bought it, but it was an auto parts store somewhere.

just picked up the sears fire hose nozzle today, went to lowes first and just bought everything at sears. i liked the lifetime warranty. all my plastic nozzles broke and suck.

It is nice to switch between the Gilmore foam gun with the shut off valve I installed to the 8 way Carrand using the soak setting to sheet the water off for less drying.

I have crappy water pressure too and have tried a bunch of nozels. I was at Lowes the other day and picked this one up. It actually has great water pressure and was better than everything that I have wasted my money on.

Metal Comfort Grip Pistol Nozzle

aww man, I was at lowes the other day looking at that one. They have some nice nozzles there, just a little expensive. Its kinda hard to spend $8-10 on a nozzle to find out it sucks.

I did pick up a bunch of their gilmore quik disco's though! Love those little things. :)

I may have to pick one up if I find it locally. I like how it has the on/off switch. I hate turning it till it turns off. THe one I have is even leaking.

I used it today to hose off the sand from my whole driveway and it was AWESOME!

It wasn't my water pressure that sucked, it was all the expensive water nozzles that SAVE water.

I think I only paid $5 for it.

This may have already been mentioned but here is a nice hose nozzle. I really like the soak setting. After you wash your car set on soak setting and let the water sheet off for less drying.

Grip Techâ„¢ 8- Way Car Wash from Carrand

You can also do a search for Carrand 90041 .....

I have tried way too many hose nozzles out over the years I have been washing cars with the likes of Nelson,Gilmour,Gardena,& Craftsman ending up in my trash can.

Some broke, other got tossed for poor performance, and some met an untimely death due to my neglect.

But this nozzle is different-

For one it's made for automotive use...how so you ask?

Just look at it's 8 settings- Prewash,Under Car,Rinse,Window,Roof,Wheel,Tire, and my favorite Soak.

The Soak function works great for an final rinse, but I like using it to do my door jambs as water will just "roll" out of the nozzle with very little force.Make it great for filling the wash bucket too.

The rinse setting is also sweet-it provides a nice, wide spray with very little force on the car and also is great for watering my lawn and garden.

But my favorite feature of this nozzle has nothing to do with the spray patterns...

It's the On-Off switch conveniently located right above the ergonomically designed tri-grip. Why don't other nozzles use this design? It's much easier than a front or rear squeeze handle and doesn't require two hands to turn on or off like the "fireman" nozzles which are everywhere these days.

My only gripe with this nozzle-My house has really high water pressure and after a year or so the on-off switch will get increasing harder to move to the point where the nozzle has to be replaced. My Brother has the same nozzle (makes a great present) and he has used his without fail for several years.
