Every time I see this picture I smile. I spent a nice Saturday afternoon cleaning up the underside of my car. Still wasn't as clean as I wanted but it was a lot better.

Before:

I had a lot more pictures but they were lost when my hard drive crashed.

I used a lot of soap and water, old mf mitt and an assortment of brushes. I also used some Simple Green and old rags. Polished the muffler using my PC and a LC 4" polishing pad with some mothers billet polish.

That stuff in the before pic is concrete/water runoff from construction they were doing down the street from where I work. It covered the whole street and no way of avoiding it.

EEK!....btw fixed the pic link here for ya..
must say that muffler is shiney!
ever thought of undercoating it and making the system really POP out?

Would have been nice if I had noticed that I messed up the pics.

No under coating but I was planning on using a black ceramic coat on the heat shields to make the polished muffler stand out. I'm going to pull the rest of the exhaust at some point and polish it all.
