Hello everyone. I've been lurking for quite a while on these forums and enjoying the education. I thought I'd post a hello message.

I'm 41 and live in St. Louis. I fly airplanes for a living with American Airlines. I've got a couple of Jaguars and enjoy restoring and showing them. One is an 84 XJ6 (silver with red interior) which is an older restoration but holding up fairly well. It's the daily driver and airport hack. The other is a 76 XJ12L (British Racing Green with Biscuit interior) that I've just recently finished. It's a garage queen that is mostly for showing but I can't resist getting it out now and then to blow out that V12. I've entered them both in the Jaguar Clubs of North America concours d' elegance at several shows around the midwest.

I've also done restorations of varying degrees on several 60's and early 70's American iron cars and trucks. Fords and Lincolns and stuff.

Anyway, thanks for the great forum.

Happy motoring.

Welcome to the site. Hmm, restored Jags and St. Louis. Do you know Lynn? She is from St. Louis has several Jags that compete in the JCNA Concours events as well. :)

Yes, I've known her for a few years now. We're in the same car club. We traded sets of wheels a while back. She's lots of fun and a great friend. Her Jags are nice too. The white 75 won national JCNA first place in 2002.

Yeah, but John is DA MAN! He won the JCNA national award this year with his gorgeous power-packed '76XJ12!! :bow (Took it away from me, in fact!) John, post some pix as soon as you can of that beauty.

Hi, John! :wavey GREAT to have you here! Hope you'll be an active participant at Autopia. With your love of cars, and your attention to detail, you'll be a great asset to the community. :up
