Newbie....will this work well on a black car?

I have a 99 black Cobra. Garage kept. I've had Zaino on it for 2 years now. It seems to have some minor swirls in the paint. Zaino doesn't not seem to be able to get ride of them.



Sooooo....



I just purchased the PC. I have at my disposal all the different pads along with:

1. 3M SMR

2. 3M Fine cut

3. Zaino's Z5 (swirl remover), and Z2

4. ClearKote Vanilla Moose and the wax



Please describe what you would do to get ride of the swirls and get the shine that I've gotten out of Zaino.



Also, if these products don't compliment eachother, lets hear what you would have gone with.

Ive never used any Z products so i cant comment on them. I wouldnt have a problem using 3M smr with a yellow Megs pad, followed with VM, tan Megs pad, then MW or Carnauba....Sounds like a god plan to me.....Considering it minimal swirls.....
 
I've tried the ClearKote stuff out on my new red Saab. Looks great. I'm willing to try it out on my black Cobra as well.



I just want to be clear here...3M SMR on the yellow pad, VM (Vanilla Moose?) on which pad, followed by MW or Carnauba.



I'm not sure on some of these abreviated terms (such as MW, VM and such), where can I find out what they all mean? I've been surfing this site for a couple of days now and figured some out, but not enough.

wont the vm remove the z5 and z2? z5 only fills, and it does a lowsy job at it....i traded out all my zaino after using it for 3 years

moose wax is a cleaner type wax, you wanna use Carnauba moose wax one over vm...or some p21s....i just did my black mach with vm/p21s and it looks SUPERB!
