im sorry i know this question has probably been asked a lot of times and for some reason the search feature is not pulling up anything on my laptop. well here goes...

i've decided to do a full interior detail on my car. so i decided to take off both driver and passenger seats so i can clean every part of leather/plastic/glass and have a lot of room to work with w/ all angles. i was able to clean and treat everything down to the engraved "PRESS" button on my seat belts. HEHE but unfortunatly i was not able to clean/treat the carpet. i was only able to vaccum it. i've noticed a lot of discoloring/stains and i would like to ask the pros. whats the best (quality for its price / most noticable results) product(s) to use?

thanks:)

Legend107- I'll let someone more knowledgeable than me answer Re the products, but two TOOLS that can be VERY helpful are a carpet brush attachment for a PC (or other random orbital) and, more importantly, a carpet extractor or wet/dry vac.

I believe the search function isn't working at the moment, but there have been a few recent threads on carpet cleaners. Also look under Member Articles, there's one on Concours Carpet.

a product known as folex is known to work wonders. I've just used oxy clean personally, but short of shampooing the carpets, these solutions are two of the most used from what I can tell.

thanks guys for the replys but unfortunatly i dont have a porter cable. im just a regular joe who wants his car as clean as the pros -=). oh and my interior type is "TYPE F" for a legend thats ivory so i have really interior... my carpet color is tan/ivory.

if u dont have a wet/dry vac would a regular house vaccum extension be put to good use?
