Newbie Needs Help

Hey guys I need your help. I have a black '98 Ford Ranger with mild/moderate swirls and some serious bug stains. What would be the best method to polish these out? Should I go with Meguiars brand and use the paint cleaner, polish and then wax or do I need something more abrasive? Also if I need to buy a PC to fully remove these flaws from my paint I am prepared to do so. Please help me get my car back to that showroom shine.

The best help I can offer is in the link found in my signature right below. When you ask questions like you asked, then you need to be prepared for really long answers. ;)

For swirl removal you really need a PC. Its not practical to even attempt it by hand. It is possible, but you had better be used to working those muscles before you even try it. It is not an easy task at all. Get a PC and that will be the first good start. The rest of the advice I can offer is in the link. Good luck! :bigups
 
I agree. Get a PC. You obviously car about the appearance of your truck and getting a PC will allow you to get most if not all of the swirls out and then make future maintenance much easier.
