Newbie needs help

I probably spent 3 hours on this site looking up holograms and spider web removal. I got lots of good advice. Just wanted to see if i missed anything.

First of all, i used a rotary dewalt 849 when i first did this. Upon advice from a friend i used wool pads with Maguirs #2 cutter followed by #9 i believe to finish it up. The car looked great in the garage, but when i pulled it out into the sun.. Well i read plenty of threads with similar stories.

I contacted a buddy of mine with a PC and he has agreed to help me out. The plan to remove the holograms is to use:

Menzerna Intensive Polish with an orange pad followed by Menzerna Final Polish II with a white pad.

I was hoping that this would also get rid of the spider webs as well.

Any suggestions or help would greatly be appreciated!!

Your product slection seems ok, but remember least aggressive first. Try a white pad with IP first. If that doesn't cut it, then move up to an orange pad.

I guess i forgot to mention the car is a 1995 porsche. I was reading and the SIP is for the Mercedes Benz's. I believe the IP and not the SIP should work to do the paint corrections required?

From what i read, Porsche has a fairly soft clear coat, so with lots of hard work, the problems should be repaired.

Once done, I will use a hologen light to inspect then i can apply sealant.

Update:

I used the SIP with an orange pad (2 passes) and Power finish with a white pad (2 passes) a panel. That stuff worked like a charm. It took me 16 hours to do the car, but the result speak for themselves!
