Well, since I got my G37 in December, I have been slowly building up a detailing arsenal from George at Detailed Image. He has been a big help on the G37 forums. Anyways, this all started because of the dealer washing my car back in January. The turned my perfect finish into a swirl hell. It is just starting to warm up here, and I am going to polish and fully detail the car next weekend. I have a PC with 106FF and IP as well as white and orange pads. I'll be washing, claying, polishing, sealing, and waxing.
Anyways, here are the pics of the damage. I can't see anything when I look straight on with the lights behind me, I can only see swirls from an angle with the lights. Here goes.
The last 2 pics are from January, thus the dirty car.
The G is notorious for having soft paint, so no matter what I am starting with 106FF and the white pad, as I have heard some people with G37s having success getting most light swirls out. I just want to know what you all think. Do you think the 106FF and white LC pad will do it? Or will I have to break out the Orange pad with IP?
Thanks!
