Hey everyone....VERY new to detailing the way most of the board members here do it. I've usually just kept my vehicles washed and waxed and tires dressed. Now I'm discovering a whole new level to this hobby, or dare I say obsession!! looking forward to soaking up lots of information and learning how to detail my rigs properly.

Where in NS are you? I lived in several places in NS about 20 yrs ago! Truro, Cape Benton, Halifax. A very beautiful place in the spring, summer and fall, winters were awful for me.

I'm living just outside of Truro. Been here for around 10 years (originally from Newfoundland). And you're right, Truro's a great place to live except for the winters though the past few years haven't been really cold, more mild weather than anything...just a lot of slush and salt to deal with. We'd get a snow storm one day and then it would rain for the next 2 days. Doesn't make for a great snowmobiling/skiing season at all.
