Newbie could use some help

Hi all, new to the board (which is great by the way).
I can get a "decent" shine even out of old paint.

Using a Pep boys 10" polisher
3M's perfect it Rubbing compound
Meg's deep crystal polish & carnuba

Below are the results on a 90 Olds (practice vehicle) that has'nt been touched in over a year or more.

Would like to get better products and eventually a PC (not in budget right now).

Any suggestions on product selection would be greatly appreciated. And if it makes a difference I would be using the new on the Green Taurus in the bottom Pic.
Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance

For some reason, I can't see your pictures. But I would suggest using Poorboys products. They are better than the suff you get in pepboys and are pretty cost effective, thus the name Poorboys world. Also, I know a PC is an investment, but if you are at all serious about car care, it is a MUST have. You just can't get the same results without it.

Geocities doesn't allow you to remote link pictures.. You can upload one picture per post directly if you'd like, or use the DC gallery. We can drag and drop those links to a new window in the mean time.

There's tons of good products to try out there.. the selection can sometimes be overwhelming! Read up on what folks are using and pick a few to try yourself.

Thanks Perry, looks like i needed more help than I thought:(

been reading the threads for a while. Looks like i'm gonna try some poorboys products
