Hi all,



i've been reading a lot of stuff in the forum and decided to join the community to learn learn learn more and more about car care ...:heelclick



i own a 2002 Renault Clio Sport, with overall little paint damage ... swirls, water spots, the usual stuff ... but a week ago i noticed that the clear coat is ripping out on a little roof top area ....



i have not much experience on restoring paint , so i would need advise on how to do it ... or .. the best way to fix this is to go to a pro ??

If your clearcoat is peeling, and you've never done any paint work, you should take it to a body shop. There's a lot more to it than an ametuer can do.



Some are better than others at repair work. I found a place that specializes in touchups. They did a great job on my Vette.



Just be sure to get 4 or 5 estimates before you decide.
